- Mikey hates when I kiss him with bright lipsticks on especially MAC's Girl About Town as it stains a little, lol.
- I dropped a WHOLE mug of tea right into my top make up drawer which holds most of my lipsticks and blushers and then all of my brushes and eye products minus my palettes. Thank gosh that only that one was open.
- Found these shoes in the back of my wardrobe. Never worn and so lush. I usually stick to my wedges but these are delish.
- Mummy dearest and I went to our favourite café. It's our favourite because all of the birds come so close to get crumbs. So cute.
- Mikey took me to see this movie FINALLY. It was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Right up my alley. Perfect.
- He took me to dinner just before it too at Bella Italia... I love salmon. Yum.
- Harry lounging around. Such a huge cat. My laptop is actually pretty big and it looks like a netbook next to him.
- Teasing my hair. Always fun when I look like this.
- Favourite eye of the moment. All Urban Decay shadows. Virgin, Busk, Sin & Zephyr.
- We went to a steam rally and I got to hold an owl. They had eagles, hawks, owls and vultures. Gorgeous.

Weather.
I never thought I'd do a whole blog post on the subject of weather but yesterday and today has been AMAZING.
It is soooo warm and the sun is shining. The birds are singing and the flowers are smelling beautiful.
It's a week that even Wordsworth would have written about!
Why did I mention Wordsworth in my post? WELL. One of my favourite poets lived, loved and wrote in the Lakes. I live just on the edge of the Lakes. It takes me about 10 minutes to go there and I love taking advantage of that!
A lot of my family and a lot of Mikey's family are from Barrow-in-Furness so we decided to go there! The city centre and the main part of Barrow isn't great, I'll admit! But you just cross one little bridge and you're on Walney island.
If you fancy going... AND YOU SHOULD. Check out this website.
I don't know if it's just me but I have a thing when it comes to the ocean. It makes me feel at peace. I love it so much. I can just sit looking at it for hours and not getting bored.
I don't look the best, I know! Lol, I don't really care! I have major vampire eye. Any light at all makes them pour out with water. Stupid!
The water was soooo clear around the island and I definitely want to go back because we just had a quick visit this time!
I hope everyone is enjoying some good weather!

Tuesday Loves
One.
Laura Makabresku.
Her work inspires me. It reminds me of my daydreams.
Bliss.
Two.
Sigur Ros.
There is nothing by Sigur Ros that I dislike. Their music touches me so much. It takes me to a place of utter calm. I'm in love.
And this video is amazing!
Three.
Instant memories.
My boyfriend ordered me some film for my Fujifilm Instax camera and I fell completely in love with it again! I think these are perfect for albums and scrapbooking! You can get them straight away and write your memories in your diary with a visual companian before you forget!
Four.
Spring&&Summer.
Finding pictures I took from last Summer and realising how fun it was!
What's better is that I know this year will be even better.
Five.
Minimilism.
Scrapping big rings like the black rose I wear above... and realising that the beautiful one next to it is just enough. I got it for my 21st birthday from my grandmother and it's perfect!
Six.
My boyfriend.
I know this is very corny and soppy but it still amazes me that another human being can know you so quickly and love you for all that you are.
He and I were discussing politics and wars tonight and even though we disagreed... we both agreed that it's fine to have our differences.
I've known so many people who love to put people down because of their personal beliefs and it's refreshing to be listened to FIRST and THEN be disagreed with.
It might not make sense on here but it does to me and it makes me appreciate him so much more.

Travelling...
I actually really miss Edinburgh. It was such a stunning city and I cannot wait to go back!
But we've decided to travel around the UK first.
We're going to Cornwall and London this year and then hopefully we'll be in Ireland early 2013.
Mikey's uncle invited us to go to Sri Lanka in 2014 but I'm not sure I want to go!
There are so many other place we'd planned... like Paris and Rome! We're dying to go to Pompei.
Japan and Thailand is a biggy for me as well and Mike wants to go to Australia but for now... we'll stick to the little adventure that is the UK.
I love where I'm from and I love that Europe is just next door!
Edinburgh was the first official trip we had as a couple (took a damn while!) and it definitely won't be the last.
Hopefully you'll see Cornwall 2012&& London 2012!
Don't get me wrong... I have been to a lot of these places already but it's not the same when you're with someone you love to bits!

It's totally in love Tuesdayyy!
1. Jenna Marbles.
What can I even say? I agree with EVERYTHING she says. She is a God(dess) to me!
I even (not lying to you right now) showed my boyfriend the above video to help him with a few things like laying on my damn hair. Ouch.
She's my current hero!
I'm also in love with this video!
2. The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey
This book is truly amazing. It's happy, sad, enchanting. So lovely.
It's definitely not a trashy book and one that you can read when you're only half in the mood.
It really touched my heart!
How lovely is the cover too? It did draw me in at Waterstones.
It cost me £14.99 which is very pricey but the book itself is perfect to display in your house.
Love it!
3. My new bracelet!
My boyfriend took me to a beautiful little village near when we live and it's full of cute little shops! I loveee places like that... which he knows! He bought me this bracelet in one of those cute shops and I cannot take it off!
4. Relaxing with a magazine and junk food on my day off!
I love, love, love Skittles and I'm always filing or doing my nails on my day off.
I always do my nails once a week unless I'm super bored. These are my nails at the moment but I'm getting bored of them at the moment so they'll be changed on Thursday and I'll be doing some nail tutorials!
And Glamour was £1 this month?! Yes, please!
Actually, everything in this picture was £1... I got 6 nail files for £1 and the Skittles were £1 too.
Bargain-hunting success!
Not a long one this week but I've been busy today so it took me a while to finish it, lol.

Totally in love Tuesday!
1. Midnight City by M83
I am still soooo in love with song. It's completely relaxes me but also makes me feel a little pumped at the same time. Is that even possible?
I know they're not playing it but it gets me in the mood for Leeds Festival! Bring it sooner, pleaseeeee!
I'm also finding my love for U2 and The Police again. I used to dance around to them as a teen. I should have been born in the 70s. Word.
2. When products put good messages on their packaging!
And I did! I don't remember the brand of this drink but I do remember it was lovely. It was a lavender lemonade drink, if I remember rightly.
3. Eating fresh, organic fruit when the weather is hot.
4. Going to the beach with The Boy <3
5. Reading under the pretty trees by my house. Love.

Our little Edinburgh adventure!
The Boy and I went to Edinburgh for a few days last week!
I absolutely hate my job so it was such a relief to hear those train doors closing and to feel the judder of the carriage as we set off.
The city is absolutely beautiful and I cannot wait to go back. I took about 600 pictures like the good, little tourist I am! There was just so much to capture in only 3 days.
Being the organised freak that I am... I made two A4 pages of lists so nothing was forgotten BUT I forgot my trust notebook at home so I had no checklist, no directions, no sketchy maps copied from google earth... just my wits. Shockingly, we didn't get lost.
Edinburgh is so easy to get around... I have zero wits about me!
We got a suite at the Radisson Blu hotel. It was so beautiful! Pricey but completely worth it.
We both spent way too much money there! Princes Street is soooooo long and soooo full of shops. We struggled to get all the way down. We tried (TWICE)!
It was so hot as well! Record temperatures for Edinburgh apparently.
I'll be doing a haul post tomorrow! It will be a very long one!
