Revlon's ColorBurst Lipstick in Carnation

It's not secret that I'm a huge fan of Revlon and especially of their lipsticks BUT I have always just bought their Matte or Super Lustrous collection. One because they're amazing, two because I like my lipstick packaging to match in my lipstick slots and three because the ColorBurst lipsticks usually have some shimmer in there and I tend to avoid that.
I DO love this packaging it's a quilted design a lá Chanel so instantly my eyes widened and I love the block of the colour on top. Easy to see which I'd like to wear when they're stood up. I always love Revlon's packaging anyway.
I tried to catch the subtle blue shimmer in the lipstick but failed miserably, lol. It's a bright pink with a blue untertone and then some blue shimmer. You do notice it on the lips but only if you know what you're looking for!
It's in the colour Carnation and you can buy it here!

This lipstick is moisturising, non-greasy, vibrant... it's only downside for me is that it doesn't last too long. I went into town with my boyfriend for less than an hour... we browsed, got a Starbucks blend *which has a straw so...* and when we got back to the car about 50 minutes later... not a trace of it left!
It is £7.99 which is the higher end of the drugstore/highstreet make up scale but it's still just over half price of my beloved Illamasqua lipsticks so yes, it does fade quickly but you can apply it as much as you want at that price!
I do have my eye on a few more but this one is my perfect colour for now.
7/10!

All About Me.

All About Me was my third lipstick from Topshop. I'd lusted over it for a while but I wanted Brighton Rock more and then I wanted to buy a few nudes and I loved the look of Nevada *wish I'd bought this one instead*...
It is definitely the most vivid and yet the deepest lipstick I've come across after MAC's Girl About Town. It's a blue toned pink that makes your teeth glow white.
I'm very pale so it stands out like crazy. I think it'd suit all skin types as long as you dare to wear it!
The Topshop lipsticks are amazing to me as they're quite matte which I love. Their texture is lush and they're quite thick so one swipe would do!
It does stain a little so you have to scrub a little harder to get it off your lips but it's worth it if it lasts all day, right?
I think so.
9/10 for me!
It's scored down because it does cling a little to dry bits so I have to keep on top form with moisturising my lips!

My Travel Make Up!

Whenever I travel or just stay at my boyfriend's place... I just want to take all of my make up but it's just not possible. I did take my huge make up case to Mikey's once but it was sooo heavy and inconvenient.
So I went to Primark for the first time in April... yes, it really was the first time and I saw this really cute & huge polka dot cosmetic case and I knew I had to have it. It's not too big that it doesn't fit into my bags but I do carry huge bags...
This is everything I carry... I don't usually carry Soap & Glory's Hand Food because I don't like it but I want to use it up!
This is all of my every day make up at the moment. My foundation will change from time to time and I'm finishing Bourjois' concealer and then going back to Collection 2000's as it so much better.
Revlon's Photoready Foundation in Shell. £12.99.
**Bourjois' Healthy Mix Concealer in Eclat Clair. £7.49.
**Rimmel's Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Transparent. £3.99.
The patterned brushes are all by No7. They were a gift and these particular ones aren't in Boots anymore.
The bronzing powder is from The Body Shop and was also discontinued but they have more.
The highlighting stick is by Topshop and is still in store but not on their website.
I love blusher. It's my favourite make up product to buy along with lipstick and I have so many. These are the ones I use most and love to travel with.
The mixed palette is by Ted Baker and was a gift with two other similar palettes. It was a Christmas edition set.
Accessorize's Merged Blush in So Pretty. £5.00.
MAC's Mineralized Blush in Gentle. £19.00.
Topshop's Blush in Powdered. £6.00.
My favourite shades to use are Virgin, Sin, Darkhorse and Hustle. Gorgeous.
Revlon's Super Lustrous Lipstick in Pink in the Afternoon. £7.49.
MAC's Lipstick in Pink Nouveau. £13.50.
MAC's Amplified Lipstick in Girl About Town. £13.50.
MAC's Matte Lipstick in Pink Plaid. £13.50.
Bourjois' Eyeliner. Discontinued.
Urban Decay's Super Curling Mascara. £15.00. *usually, but I got it in the Book of Shadows Palette*
Urban Decay's Eyeshadow Primer Potion. £14.50. *usually, but I got it with the Naked Palette*
Black eyeshadow blending brush by M&S. Discontinued.

**Two stars indicate that I wouldn't and will never repurchase these items again!

What do you carry in your travel make up bags?
Link me or tell me!

I need, need, need!

 1. Puff On Radiance by Lily Cole. £16.00.
2. Shimmer Cubes by Lily Cole. £16.00.
3. Pearl Radiance Primer by Lily Cole. £12.00.
4. Radiant Highlighter. £11.00.
5. Colourglide™ Shine Lip Colours in Vintage Rose, Pink Flash & Iced Violet. £9.00.
6. Brush on Radiance. £13.00.

I already own a lot of The Body Shop products and make up so I know exactly what I'd be getting.
Amazing quality,
Their brushes are the softest I've ever tried AND they're cruelty-free so this is a gigantic thing for me.
I think their Shimmer cubes are my favourite eyeshadows to use along with Urban Decay *also cruelty free*.
I'm actually skint at the minute so I've convinced my boyfriend to get me some of the Lily Cole collection for my birthday (which is in December, lol) because I presume it's limited edition? I'm not sure but I wanted to be safe.
At least I'll have something waiting for me in a few months!

A Dreamy Review

I've never bought anything from 17 as I presumed it was a brand solely aimed at teens and tweens who were just looking for their first make up so I didn't think anything would appeal to me. I figured it'd be bright, in-your-face colours and have too much scent and no moisture for my lips.
I was wrong... I love this lipstick.
It's quite matte which I LOVE but I know a lot don't. The colour is one that I haven't seen before and it goes on a lot brighter than it is in the solid form.
It's not the most moisturising lipstick in the world but it doesn't stick to any dry bits and it lasts a long time.
I will be buying more when I never go into town and I look forward to it too!
The packaging is really lovely but IDK if I could stand the bright blue packaging they also have for lipsticks.

At £4.29... can I really complain much?
Go on, treat yourself!

Summer is dark.

I know it's Summer and it is hot as hell where I live but black is my favourite shade to wear. I cannot get enough of it.
Yes, I love bright colours, patterns and pastels but if I'm unsure... I a-l-w-a-y-s go back to black.
Cow Purse. £95. Love Moschino.
My gosh, I LOVE this purse. I want it so badly! It's so adorable and right up my street.
Pack of 3 moustache rings. £8. Asos.
This are so cute. I love anything moustache and I love black and gold together. Perfect.
JK Jemma Kidd On Location set. £16. Asos.
This is a beautiful palette and it comes in two different sets. I prefer 01 Dare to Bare. It's more me and it's something that can be used everyday so it's good for the price!
Platform heel sandals. £49.99. Zara.
These are soooo gorgeous. Definitely my style. I prefer thicker heels. They're more comfortable, I find.
These are so chic too.

Brighton Rocks!

I'm so, so, so, so happy that Topshop decided to do a beauty range because I am in love with their lipsticks and nail varnishes. Brighton Rock was my first lipstick and I use it at least once a week! It isn't one for the faint-hearted as it is very bright but I LOVE my bright lipsticks... if you couldn't tell already!
It's retailing at £8.00 but I think that's a bargain as I do wear it all the time!
It's a matte consistency... all of their lipsticks I've bought are either matte or semi-matte.
They do have a habit of sticking to dry bits but as long as long as you're all moisturised... you're good to go!
It doesn't glide on super soft and it isn't moisturising but if you love the matte look... these are definitely for you!
You can see me wearing it with a full face of make up here.
It's such a good make up to lift your mood as well! I always feel really peppy and confident!
I hope you all buy it here! I'd love you all to feel as happy and upbeat as I do!

Oh, and that packaging! I hope they don't change it! It's so adorable and quirky!
I also love the label at the bottom. Straight to the point. No numbers. No fuss!

MAC's Girl About Town review!

I always look on the MAC website before I go into the store because I love to write a list of the colours that I'm attracted to so I can just ask one of the girls if they can give me advice on the colours and my skin tone!
I have bought a lot of nudes that make me look so dead. Now I just ask!
When I saw this colour... I almost licked the screen! It is so sexy and amazing!
It's a bright fuschia and as soon as I put it on... I feel a-m-a-z-i-n-g!
It glides on so well! It's smooth and soft. It feels so moisturising as well! My boyfriend isn't a fan because it is hard to get off once it's on your lips so he avoids kissing me too much when I'm wearing it, lol.
It is a little pricey at £13.50 but I don't see the price tag when something makes me feel this good about myself.
I see it as an investment into many days of happiness and confidence.
This is one that I'll repurchase again and again!
What do we think... is it a little too bright for you or do you love it too?

Getting ready today...

I always do my hair first... then I just scoop it out of the way after... I like my make up to be as fresh as possible when I head out so I do it last. I don't mind if my hair gets a little messy between finishing it and leaving the house.
Foundation is done and then I fill in my eyebrows and do my eyeshadow and liner. I do like a dramatic brow and I know it's not to everyone's taste but it makes me happy. I use natural colours and they're all Urban Decay. I love their shadows the most.
I'm using Brighton Rock by Topshop. I love how bright it is! It's a great statement lipstick and especially teamed with Sky High nail polish by Rimmel. I'm almost out of it!
All done!
Hope you all have a fabulous day!
